Overview:Culinary Utility Worker In the position of a Culinary Utility Worker, you have a significant impact on fostering a pristine, secure, and friendly dining ambiance for our patrons. Your focus on cleanliness and systematic approach plays a vital role in delivering flawless table service and a pleasant atmosphere for every guest. By upholding superior cleanliness standards internally and externally, you provide essential support to the team. Key Responsibilities: • Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment. • Check that all dishes, flatware, and kitchen tools are washed, dried, and organized efficiently for the convenience of both guests and the team. • Ensure that the kitchen, dining areas, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces are kept clean at all times. • Perform daily cleaning and organizing tasks in the utility area. • Keep the kitchen and utility floors clean and germ-free by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing them on a regular basis. • Ensure garbage removal and upkeep of dumpster zone and loading bay. • Carry out regular deep-cleaning responsibilities according to the established schedule. • Comply with the regulations mandated by the local health department and adhere to the safety protocols implemented by the company. • Restore the inventory of spotless dishes, silverware, and glassware at the Cook, Line, and Server stations. • It is important to promptly communicate any equipment problems or safety hazards to the Manager. • Meet demand efficiently during peak hours while also prioritizing cleanliness. • Contribute to a positive dining experience for guests through the meticulous cleaning of dishes and dining locations. • Support the kitchen team by providing just-in-time delivery of clean dishware and utensils. Qualifications: • Ability to handle a quick-paced work environment while consistently meeting high cleanliness benchmarks. • Valued team player recognized for their positive demeanor and strong commitment to their duties. • Needs to have the physical capacity to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. • Availability is essential for shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays as required. • Experience is not necessary as we will provide training for the role.
