The role involves monitoring and managing client systems, identifying and investigating cyber threats, and interfacing with clients professionally. Responsibilities β’ Monitor, manage and secure client systems β’ Identify, track and investigate threat campaigns and malicious cyber actors β’ Analyze security threats from a wide range of technologies β’ Escalate incidents based on established processes β’ Document incident details within ticketing system β’ Interface with clients in a professional manner β’ Perform other tasks when deemed necessary Skills β’ Burning passion for breaking into the cybersecurity industry β’ Critical thinking and investigative skills β’ Some knowledge of cyber threat actors and campaigns β’ Some knowledge of threat analysis and reporting β’ An understanding of what security technologies are capable of such as SIEM, firewalls, endpoint security, vulnerability management and patch β’ Understanding of computing, network and security fundamentals β’ Prior experience utilizing a ticketing system is highly desired β’ 1-2 years working within customer service is a plus β’ CompTIA certifications are a plus Company Overview β’ Welcome to Jobs via Dice, the go-to destination for discovering the tech jobs you want.
