The Brand Partner role involves managing a sales territory, developing strategies for revenue growth, and building relationships with clients in the home decor and improvement sectors to drive advertising sales. Responsibilities β€’ Manage a territory and sales quota, particularly focused on brands in home related categories β€’ Develop account and territory strategies for long-term revenue growth β€’ Own prospecting and lead generation, cold outreach to brands, setting up meetings, pitching the benefits of advertising on Houzz, negotiating deals, and closing sales β€’ Act as a business specialist on behalf of your clients - strategically developing digital and mixed media solutions to suit their objective β€’ Establish and foster relationships with clients by conducting a high volume of face-to-face calls β€’ Prioritize and lead to ensure proper account management both internally and externally β€’ Establish oneself as a thought leader within the home category and evangelize Houzz’s unique positioning within the marketplace β€’ Ability to stay ahead of the curve on marketplace trends relating to their clients as well as the digital industry Skills β€’ Sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in an unstructured, goal-oriented environment β€’ 3+ years of advertising sales experience with proven track record; experience working with home category partners is a plus β€’ Cultivate and leverage deep client relationships β€’ Full knowledge of the digital space – native, content, sponsorships, social, and custom β€’ Have a strong desire to win and grow as digital ad sales professional β€’ Exceptional communication and organizational skills β€’ Well-developed presentation skills β€’ Ability to manage multiple account challenges at once β€’ Must be extremely detail oriented β€’ Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiar with CRM systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, etc. β€’ Ability to travel when required; anywhere from 10% to 25% of the time β€’ Be located US time zone β€’ Experience working with home category brands β€’ Ad agency experience β€’ Programmatic sales experience β€’ Or a degree in marketing, advertising, or business Education Requirements β€’ BS/BA degree, or equivalent training and experience Benefits β€’ Paid Time Off (PTO) β€’ Home internet stipend β€’ Medical benefits after 45 days β€’ Healthy at Houzz program Company Overview β€’ Houzz is an online platform for home remodeling, architecture, interior design, decorating, landscaping, and home improvement.
