Overview We are seeking passionate and dedicated online tutors for students in beginning-level Spanish and Latin. This is a fully online position with flexible scheduling, ideal for educators enthusiastic about fostering student growth in a virtual environment. Responsibilities • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for Spanish and Latin. • Utilize virtual learning tools to enhance student engagement and comprehension. • Provide instruction in subject-specific skills, fostering critical thinking and understanding. • Create a supportive online learning environment to encourage student participation. • Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and informal evaluations. • Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and student needs. • Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching strategies and share best practices. • Communicate with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address concerns. • Offer additional tutoring support for students needing extra help. Qualifications • 1+ year of teaching experience in Spanish/Latin teaching. • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish/ Latin or related field preferred. • Proficiency in online teaching platforms and learning technology (we use the platform Classin, make sure download and register before first trial and send me your email). • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • Passion for education and inspiring students in a virtual setting. • Experience and comfortable using APPs like Zoom/ Classin. • Experience and comfortable teaching students in China (English is their second language). • Time would be in the morning before school (US time), make sure you are available (China time at night). • Make sure you can work in the US and receive W2.
