Weaver Partners is seeking a Retirement Plan Administrator (TPA) / Sr. Compliance Consultant who will be responsible for managing plan administration and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in plan administration, excellent client communication skills, and a commitment to continuing education. Responsibilities β€’ Serve as main point of contact and take β€œownership” for assigned clients β€’ Provide support to financial advisors and referral sources β€’ Ability to accurately interpret and apply plan document provisions β€’ Ensure compliance with ERISA DOL and IRS requirements β€’ Annual compliance testing for assigned clients (402(g), 415(c), 410(b), ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, Plan Limits etc. β€’ Preparation and filing of Form 5500 and related schedules β€’ Prepare projected and actual employer plan contribution calculations with allocation methods β€’ Trust accounting/financial reporting β€’ Custodian downloads, uploads and imports β€’ Contribution reconciliations β€’ Facilitate vesting updates with custodian β€’ Plan payroll processing, as needed β€’ Preparation of custodian correction/update forms, as needed β€’ Provide support to Senior Retirement Plan Consultants and assist in training of new Associates β€’ Review of Retirement Plan Associate work for assigned clients β€’ Assist clients with locating missing participants and securing ERISA bonding β€’ Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) determination and processing β€’ Ensure proper coordination and delivery of annual required notices β€’ Represent the company on client calls and in client meetings, as needed β€’ Have a working knowledge of custodian websites and processes β€’ Support the retirement plan implementation, conversion, de-conversion and termination processes β€’ Collection and review of annual census data and employer questionnaire β€’ Census imports and data checks β€’ Determining plan eligibility β€’ Determining Highly Compensated Employee (HCE) and Key Employee status β€’ Loan and distribution support Skills β€’ Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of administration experience, 8+years for high end of salary β€’ Must have hands-on compliance testing background and have completed 3 full cycle of testing, 10+ cycles of testing for high end of salary β€’ Must have prepared Form 5500 and other related schedules β€’ Must have Defined Contribution a plus if DB or Cash Balance included β€’ Must have performed Employer Calculations to be considered for higher end of salary range β€’ Must have Management/Team Lead/Quality Review experience to be considered for the high end of salary range β€’ Must have experience with multiple recordkeeping platforms β€’ Experience with 3(16) fiduciary responsibilities is a plus β€’ Experience with SRT is a plus β€’ Experience with MEPs, PEPs and ROBS is a plus β€’ ASPPA and/or NIPA credentials are a plus Benefits β€’ 401(k) w/match β€’ Health Insurance β€’ PTO and more Company Overview β€’ Weaver Partners is a recruitment firm that helps the retirement services and employee benefits industry.
