About the position Responsibilities β€’ Lead the company-wide processes for budgeting, forecasting and reporting of actual financial results to ensure timely, accurate and relevant financial information is available for business decision making. β€’ Manage the development of the Company's balance sheet and cash flow budget/forecast. β€’ Support reporting for senior management and other stakeholders including the Board of Directors in the form of actual reviews, forecast reviews, and weekly/monthly dashboards. β€’ Partner with Corporate cost center owners in developing clear and accurate expense forecasts. β€’ Lead the tracking and forecasting of capital expenditures across the company. β€’ Maintain ownership for and continuously improve the systems landscape and financial reporting and analysis processes across the company. β€’ Provide clear and insightful commentary around the month end, quarter end, and FY results. β€’ Manage month end close for area of responsibility to include reporting of actuals, comparison of results versus forecast/budget and prior year. β€’ Facilitate quarterly summary cost center reviews, sharing insights on spending trends and cost reduction opportunities. β€’ Work cross functionally with Accounting and key business leaders to maintain strong working relationships and support broader company goals. β€’ Assist and support finance management's efforts for continuous improvement of the existing financial reporting tools, systems and processes. Requirements β€’ Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance/accounting; MBA a plus. β€’ Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. β€’ Experience in budgeting and forecasting techniques, financial analysis, and strategic planning. β€’ Experience using financial reporting systems (preferably Anaplan) and ERP platforms (preferably SAP). β€’ Advanced MS Excel skills. β€’ Strong knowledge of general accounting concepts (either GAAP or IFRS) and the ability to understand the linkages between business operations and financial statements. β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail. β€’ Continuous improvement mindset with a bias toward action. β€’ Results-driven and willingness to act as an agent of change. β€’ Able to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group. β€’ Adjust quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
