- Assist in forensic investigations across computers, mobile devices, and cloud systems.
- Support live incident response engagements: analyze logs, detect attacker activity, and contribute to containment.
- Research new attack techniques and help integrate findings into our playbooks.
- Contribute to client-ready reports and documentation for legal and corporate investigations.
- Participate in proactive threat-hunting operations alongside the team.
- Receive direct mentorship from senior investigators and train in the company's DFIR methodology.
- Requirements:
- A strong foundation in IT, cybersecurity, or computer science (degree or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with operating systems, networks, and forensic fundamentals (chain of custody, imaging, preservation).
- Coursework, labs, or certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CHFI, ACE, GCFA, GCFE, GCIH, or ECIH are preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professionalism, resilience under pressure, and adaptability in fast-moving environments.
- 0–2 years of cybersecurity or IT experience (role built for motivated professionals with 0–2 years).
