Tax Manager ( FULLY REMOTE)
Remote | Full-Time | $125,000–$130,000 base + bonus

- They’re now seeking a Tax Manager to lead and elevate their tax preparation department. This is a rare opportunity to take on a high-visibility leadership role in a fast-growing, mission-driven firm.What You’ll Do
- Manage, mentor, and develop internal tax preparers across two advisory teams
- Oversee workflow and performance of offshore tax preparation contractors
- Review complex federal, state, and local returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and non-profits
- Identify process improvements to enhance speed and accuracy
- Create training resources and lead technical development sessions
- Serve as a final review point and technical resource on complex filings
- Coordinate with internal departments and external tax authorities on audits and correspondence
- Leverage technology tools (UltraTax, G-Suite, CRM) to drive efficiency and streamline workflows
- What You Bring
- 5–8 years of progressive tax preparation and compliance experience
- 2–3 years in a management or supervisory role
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation a plus)
- CPA
- Strong command of UltraTax and advanced knowledge of:
- Corporate and partnership returns (1120, 1120-S, 1065)
- Trusts, non-profits, LLCs, and S-corps
- Experience working remotely and coordinating with offshore teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and deadline-driven mindset

- Position is 100% remote with flexible time zone considerations
