Role Summary

We are seeking a very senior Backend Engineer with expert-level experience in Node.js, TypeScript, and serverless AWS architecture. You’ll own core backend systems that power our neobank: payments, wallets, secure authentication, event-driven pipelines, and streaming infrastructures.

You’ll work at the intersection of fintech, blockchain, event streaming, and AI, designing mission-critical systems with strong security, compliance, and performance guarantees.

This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-moving, high-ownership environments and love pushing what’s possible with AI-assisted development.

10+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong backend record.
Deep expertise in Node.js + TypeScript building distributed systems or financial platforms.
Strong hands-on experience with serverless AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Kinesis, EventBridge, Cognito).
Experience designing secure, compliant financial flows (payments, wallets, KYC, auth, etc.).
Solid understanding of real-time protocols: WebSockets, SSE.
Familiarity with stablecoins, blockchain payment flows, or modern payments APIs.
Able to contribute to React Native when needed (not the main focus).
Comfortable in an engineering environment where AI is actively used every day.
Passion for pushing the frontier of AI-driven development, not just adapting to it.

10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Deep expertise in Node.js + TypeScript, building distributed or financial systems.
Strong hands-on experience with serverless AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Kinesis, EventBridge and Cognito.
Experience designing secure, compliant financial flows (payments, wallets, KYC, identity, auth).
Solid understanding of real-time protocols (WebSockets, SSE).
Familiarity with stablecoins, blockchain transaction flows, or modern payment APIs.

Ability to contribute to React Native when necessary.
Comfortable in high-AI-usage engineering environments.
