Job Description
Zone 5 Technologies is redefining what's possible in unmanned aircraft systems. They are seeking an Electrical Engineer I/II to support the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for unmanned aerial systems (UAS), while collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components for UAS platforms
- Support the production and documentation of wire harnesses using Altium and other tools
- Diagnose and resolve basic circuit issues on UAS platforms
- Work with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems into UAS platforms
- Maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for electrical systems
- Conduct electrical tests and assist in developing test procedures to verify system functionality
- Work with production teams to address non-conformance issues and implement solutions
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 0-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with exposure to UAS systems or similar projects (internships or academic experience welcomed)
- Familiarity with Altium or similar design tools
- Basic knowledge of analog and digital circuits
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
