Job Description
MSCI Inc. is a leading provider of risk and performance analytics solutions, and they are seeking an Inside Sales Specialist/ Junior Sales Associate to support their Analytics business. This role involves engaging with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with senior sales professionals to enhance client investment processes.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior sales executives to support all stages of the sales process, from prospecting through closing and onboarding
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients across the Americas region
- Prepare tailored client presentations, proposals, and responses to RFPs
- Support client meetings and product demonstrations by developing a strong understanding of MSCI’s Analytics offerings, including risk models, performance attribution, and portfolio construction tools
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and assist with pipeline reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams — including product management, client coverage, and marketing — to ensure client needs are met effectively
- Analyze client portfolios and usage data to identify opportunities for expansion and increased adoption
Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in financial services, analytics, investment research, or B2B sales
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Strong understanding or interest in quantitative investment analytics, portfolio management, and risk management concepts
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a client-centric mindset
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
