About the position The Senior Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across WarHorse Gaming. This role ensures scalable architecture, efficient data movement, and high-performance systems that deliver trusted insights to business leaders across operations, marketing, finance, and guest experience. This position plays a key role in enabling enterprise-wide analytics and driving innovation in a fast-paced, 24/7 gaming and entertainment environment. Responsibilities β€’ Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data warehouse and data lake platforms. β€’ Develop and enforce data architecture, modeling, integration, and governance standards. β€’ Manage ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure data quality, security, scalability, and reliability. β€’ Optimize storage, performance, and cost efficiency across cloud and hybrid environments. β€’ Deliver BI dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions. β€’ Standardize KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks across departments. β€’ Partner with business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights. β€’ Promote adoption of data visualization and analytics tools. β€’ Develop and support AI/ML models, predictive analytics, and automation initiatives. β€’ Collaborate on advanced use cases including segmentation, personalization, forecasting, and fraud detection. β€’ Implement MLOps practices for model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. β€’ Ensure compliance with data governance, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. β€’ Partner with IT Security and Compliance to protect sensitive data assets. β€’ Evaluate and recommend data platforms, BI tools, cloud services, and vendors. β€’ Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices. β€’ Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). β€’ Minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering, enterprise data warehousing, or analytics platform development. β€’ Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, C#, and ETL/ELT tools. β€’ Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including hybrid environments. β€’ Strong knowledge of BI and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). β€’ Familiarity with data governance, compliance frameworks, and security protocols. β€’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
