- Evaluate and process insurance renewal applications by assessing risk
- Determine appropriate coverage and pricing for personal lines insurance policies
- Develop and implement strategies to retain existing clients
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries
- Ensure all underwriting activities comply with Quality Control guidelines
- Perform additional job functions/responsibilities as assigned
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines underwriting or a related role within the insurance industry
- Property & Casualty License and Surplus Lines License in resident state are required within 45 days of start date
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication (including exceptional telephone demeanor) and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in insurance knowledge
