The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for identifying and sourcing potential acquisition targets through market research and direct outreach to business owners. Responsibilities β€’ Proactively identify and evaluate potential merger and acquisition opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and relationship-building efforts β€’ Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, intermediaries, and other deal sources to generate a consistent deal flow pipeline β€’ Collaborate with the corporate development team to understand strategic priorities and develop targeted outreach strategies to source actionable deal opportunities β€’ Track and manage deal pipeline activity, including maintaining databases, tracking interactions, and updating deal status reports β€’ Prepare and present deal sourcing updates and recommendations to the corporate development leads Skills β€’ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field β€’ 2-4 years of experience in sales, corporate development, business development, or related M&A role with a proven track record of successfully sourcing new deals/customers β€’ Strong networking, relationship-building, and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with owners, intermediaries, and other deal sources β€’ Proactive and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment β€’ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software Company Overview β€’ Talus Group Holdings, the private investment firm founded by the family office of John Fitzgibbons, provides early-stage capital to leaders looking to buy, build and operate businesses that yield lasting value for their customers and stakeholders.
