Position Title: Cyera Security Expert and Program Manager Duration: 12+ months Contract Client Location: Remote with occasional travel to HQ in Seattle, WA Job Details: β’ Lead and support the implementation and onboarding of Cyera across enterprise cloud and data environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, SaaS, data platforms, etc.). β’ Configure Cyera to accurately discover, classify, and monitor sensitive data across structured and unstructured sources. β’ Optimize Cyera policies, rules, and workflows to align with enterprise security, privacy, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI, SOX). β’ Act as the primary technical advisor and escalation point for Cyera-related architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting. β’ Partner with security operations, cloud engineering, data platform teams, and GRC teams to integrate Cyera into existing security processes and toolchains. β’ Provide guidance on best practices for data risk identification, remediation prioritization, and continuous posture improvement. β’ Assist with use-case development, reporting, dashboards, and executive-level insights derived from Cyera findings. β’ Support integrations with SIEM, SOAR, ticketing, and other security platforms as needed. β’ Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures. β’ Provide knowledge transfer, training, and enablement for internal teams and customer stakeholders. β’ Support ongoing platform optimization, upgrades, and feature adoption as Cyera capabilities evolve. Required Qualifications β’ Hands-on experience implementing and operating Cyera in an enterprise environment (or deep expertise with DSPM platforms and direct Cyera exposure). β’ Strong understanding of data security, data governance, and privacy concepts. β’ Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with complex cloud and data architectures. β’ Solid knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and common data services (databases, data lakes, SaaS). β’ Experience integrating security tools with SIEM, SOAR, and ITSM platforms. β’ Ability to translate technical findings into business and risk-oriented insights. β’ Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. β’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications β’ Experience with compliance frameworks and regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.). β’ Background in data protection, DLP, CASB, or cloud security posture management (CSPM). β’ Prior experience in a consulting, professional services, or customer-facing SME role. β’ Relevant security or cloud certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS/Azure certifications).
