Description Northwest Connections is hiring Mental Health Crisis Workers to provide 24/7 telephone crisis support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies. This remote, part-time role focuses on crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and behavioral health support in compliance with Wisconsin DHS 34 and Chapter 51. Key Responsibilities β’ Respond to mental health crisis and suicide prevention hotline calls β’ Conduct risk assessments and determine appropriate interventions β’ Provide emotional support, crisis counseling, and referrals β’ Document services in Electronic Health Records (EHR) β’ Work independently while collaborating with the crisis response team Schedule & Availability β’ Part-time: minimum 3 shifts per week β’ A minimum of 4 shifts per month must fall on a Saturday or Sunday. β’ 2 holiday shifts per year required β’ Evening and overnight shifts available: 3pmβ11pm | 4pmβ12am | 9pmβ3am | 10pmβ6am | 11pmβ7am Pay & Shift Differentials β’ $21.00/hour β’ +$2.65/hour weekend differential β’ +$3.00/hour for shifts starting at 9pm, 10pm, or 11pm Work Location β’ Remote / Work From Home β’ Must reside in Wisconsin β’ Requires personal computer, high-speed internet, and private workspace Benefits β’ Employee Assistance Program (EAP) β’ Wellness Program β’ Professional Development Assistance β’ Paid Time Off (PTO) Requirements Required Qualifications β’ 2+ years of experience in mental health, behavioral health, or crisis services β’ Bachelorβs degree in human services preferred (or equivalent experience) β’ Strong skills in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and multitasking β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills β’ Proficiency with computers and EHR systems β’ Ability to remain calm in high-pressure, emergency situations Apply tot his job
