Job Description
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Clinical Psychologist to deliver telehealth psychological services within a K-12 educational setting. This position involves providing comprehensive psychological support for students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct telehealth assessments and evaluations to identify student psychological needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student mental health and academic performance.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards and school policies.
- Qualifications:
- Clinical Psychologist license issued by the North Carolina Psychology Board (required).
- Proven experience working with school-aged children in psychological assessment and intervention.
- Familiarity with telehealth delivery methods and related technology.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and educational staff.
- Knowledge of age-appropriate psychological theories and practices for Pre-K to 12 students.
- Location & Schedule:
- Position based in New Bern, NC.
- Contract position with an anticipated duration through June 5, 2026.
- Expected to work 25-30 hours per week.
- Immediate availability preferred.
