Computer Vision / Deep Learning Scientist (Contract)
Join a collaborative team delivering high-impact computer vision solutions across multiple product groups and business units. You’ll help define real business problems, build innovative deep learning models, and support deployments through monitoring and lifecycle optimization.
- What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and implement novel computer vision algorithms for unique use cases
- Build and evaluate models, datasets, and data sources for accuracy and quality
- Apply deep learning techniques for image processing (classification, object detection, semantic segmentation)
- Research and prototype new algorithms and approaches to stay current with the field
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in a highly technical, hands-on environment
- Leverage open-source tools and technologies to deliver production-ready solutions
Contract & Location
6-month contract with strong extension potential. Hybrid (3 days onsite) in Midtown Atlanta; fully remote option for candidates outside the Atlanta area. Brand new office building near MARTA with paid parking and modern amenities.
- Required
- Strong Python skills with industry experience in TensorFlow, Keras, and/or PyTorch
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, MXNet) and OpenCV
- Hands-on experience with CNN architectures (ResNet, VGG16, MobileNet, etc.)
- Experience with traditional image processing (OpenCV, skimage)
- Familiarity working on GPU machines and/or running workloads on GPU clusters
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, ML, Statistics, or related field
- Preferred
- Experience in enterprise environments
