- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources including sales, distribution, customer feedback, and market trends
- Perform analysis and generate reports from disparate systems to support sales requests, customer presentations, and strategic initiatives
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to identify business opportunities and challenges
- Monitor industry trends and competitor performance to inform strategic planning
- Support data-driven decision by translating complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for Sales Leaders, RSMs, BDMs, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity and maintain documentation of methodologies and processes
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis in the consumer product goods industry
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and deliver actionable insights
- Strong data hygiene mindset (matching, deduping, referential integrity)
- Familiarity with syndicated data sources (e.g., Datassential)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convert analytics into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience in data analysis in Away from Home Segment (Foodservice)
- Experience with predictive modeling and statistical analysis
- Knowledge of the foodservice marketplace and product categories
- Experience working with Salesforce data models (Accounts, Opportunities, Activities)
- Knowledge of operator and distributor ecosystems (Sysco, US Foods, Gordon, regional distributors), GPOs, and broker models or knowledge of B2B Wholesaler model
- Ability to effectively present insights from analysis to customers
