Job Overview
In this exciting role, you will be the face of our customer support, ensuring that our users receive top-notch assistance and guidance. Your primary focus will be on responding to customer inquiries via chat apps and email, directing them to helpful articles, and coordinating with our co-founder on high-priority issues. You will also play a crucial role in setting customer expectations, providing timely updates, and resolving issues efficiently. As a flexible and remote team, we're open to discussing a schedule that suits your needs, with a focus on USA time zones (8am - 6pm ET) and the possibility of adding more hours as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via chat apps and email in a timely and professional manner
- Guide customers to relevant help articles and resources to resolve issues independently
- Collaborate with our co-founder to escalate and resolve top-priority issues
- Set clear customer expectations regarding issue resolution, updates, and fixes
- Communicate effectively with the internal team using Intercom, Trello, or email to ensure seamless issue resolution
- Capture customer reviews and feedback to improve our app and services
Essential Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Proven experience in a customer support role, preferably with experience in capturing customer reviews
- Excellent written communication skills to respond to customers, guide them towards solutions, and set expectations
- A positive, friendly tone that is also empathetic and understanding when customers are frustrated
- Dependability and reliability to conduct work on time and on schedule
- Familiarity with Shopify sites, including how to use orders and checkout functionality
Preferred Qualifications
