Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Case Manager to oversee all phases of case handling, from initial client contact to settlement or litigation. This role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will work closely with attorneys, team members, and clients to ensure timely and accurate processing of cases while providing support in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Open new client files, entering information into Neos software and organizing documents.
  • Gather all required forms and authorizations, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare and process forms for no-fault insurance claims, submitting them to adjusters.
  • Obtain police reports, medical records, and other documentation necessary for claims.
  • Conduct research through Lexis to gather pertinent information on involved parties and witnesses.
  • Coordinate with investigators and support pre-litigation and litigation attorneys as needed.
  • Create and manage correspondence with insurance companies, adjusters, and defendants.
  • Monitor and facilitate Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits to ensure timely processing.
  • Communicate case updates and important issues with pre-litigation attorneys and managers.
  • Maintain detailed case checklists and manage case dashboards within Neos.
  • Order and organize necessary records, including photographs and FOIA materials.
  • Handle lien-related tasks, including file setup with Massive and value tracking in Neos.
  • Process case costs and submit invoices to the Office Manager for payment.
  • Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) as established by the Manager and COO.
  • Participate in firm-wide meetings, contribute to a positive work environment, and assist in other tasks, including phone coverage, as needed.
    Qualifications and Skills:
  • Effective problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Neos Case Management, and Lexis Advance.
  • High client service orientation, demonstrating compassion and empathy.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Professional and personable demeanor in interactions with clients, attorneys, and experts.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and learn software quickly.
