About the Role


We are seeking a passionate and experienced customer support representative to join our rapidly expanding team in Japan. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing concierge-level support to our diverse client base, including sales staff, account managers, field application scientists, and technical support specialists. Your primary objective will be to achieve high customer satisfaction scores, drive loyalty to arenaflex's products, and reinforce the quality of our brand. Key Responsibilities



  • Respond to and resolve product, service, and order inquiries and problems via email, chat, and phone, ensuring timely and effective solutions that meet our customers' needs.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement solutions, presenting them to customers and following up to ensure complete satisfaction.

  • Process sales purchase orders, entering and validating the accuracy of information provided by customers and sales staff, and resolving any errors efficiently.

  • Provide guidance and support to help customers navigate our ecommerce website, understand product offerings, and track order status.

  • Stay up-to-date on the status of key account orders in the production pipeline and provide proactive updates to internal stakeholders.

  • Generate sales quotes for sales representatives within our Salesforce quote-to-cash system.

  • For the Japan position, provide expertise on Asia region import/export logistics and compliance, ensuring seamless and compliant transactions.

Requirements and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in life sciences or a related field.

  • 1-2 years of work experience in the biotech industry, with a strong understanding of the sector and its challenges.

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions effectively.

  • Attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong computer skills, with familiarity with G-Suite and preferably Salesforce.

  • For the Japan position, familiarity with Asia region import/export logistics and compliance is highly desirable.
