About the Studio
We are a boutique, high-end residential interior design studio seeking a polished, detail-driven Interior Design Studio Assistant to support our growing practice. This role is ideal for someone with an elevated design sensibility, exceptional organizational skills, and a genuine appreciation for the precision and discretion required in luxury interiors.
As a small, design-focused firm, we offer rare, hands-on exposure to every phase of the design processâfrom initial concept through final installationâworking closely alongside the principal designer on thoughtfully curated residential projects.
Role Overview
- This is a highly involved support role requiring both creative and operational finesse. The ideal candidate thrives behind the scenes, anticipates needs before they arise, and takes pride in executing the details that allow projects to run seamlessly.Responsibilities
- Produce AutoCAD and/or Revit drawings, including space planning, furniture layouts, elevations, and custom details (kitchens, closets, builtâins, and bespoke elements)
- Sketch Up or 3D experience a plus
- Assist with purchase order placement, track lead times, and coordinate with vendors, workrooms, and showrooms
- Attend select client meetings and site visits to take detailed notes, measurements, and photographs
- Support installation days, ensuring accuracy, organization, and professionalism on site
- Maintain a meticulously organized sample library, material inventory, and digital project files
- Manage schedules, project details, and internal documentation
- Communicate professionally with vendors, suppliers, and trades
- Pick up/ drop off and procure samples as needed
- Provide dayâtoâday studio support to ensure projects progress smoothly and efficiently Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit (required)
- Bachelorâs degree in interior design or a related field
- Exceptional organizational skills and acute attention to detail
- Comfort using Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, and Microsoft Office
- Professional, reliable, proactive, and selfâdirected
- Warm, polished, and professional demeanor
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel locally to showrooms and job sites Preferred Qualifications
- 1â3 years of experience in a design studio or similar creative environment (highly motivated entryâlevel candidates with strong skills are encouraged to apply)
- Experience creating elevated client presentations and mood boards
- Familiarity with Design Manager, Studio Designer, In Design
- Sketch Up or 3D rendering experience a plus
- Experience coordinating with highâend vendors and tracking custom orders
- Deep appreciation for materials, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design Studio Environment
- Direct, dayâtoâday collaboration with the principal designer
