Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TechBiz Global is providing recruitment services to top clients from their portfolio. They are currently looking for a highly proactive and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join one of their clients' teams.
- Responsibilities
- Insert customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits
- Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check the output
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Apply data program techniques and procedures
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations
- Scan documents and print files, when needed
- Keep information confidential in accordance with our security policies
- Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
- Comply with data integrity and security policies
- Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions
- Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is a plus
- Proven experience as a data entry operator or similar position
- Fast typing skills with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms
- Basic understanding of databases
- Good command of English, both oral and written
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong internet connection and a personal computer
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with data entry software and familiarity with administrative duties
