We’re a growing dietary supplement company looking to hire an experienced Shopify website developer/designer to build a new Shopify website from the ground up. This project will focus on performance, SEO, and conversion optimization from day one.
We already have brand direction and designs in progress and are planning to hire within the next week.
Responsibilities
- Build and launch a new Shopify website
- Implement clean, conversion-focused layouts across key pages (homepage, product pages, collections, informational pages)
- Ensure mobile-first, responsive design
- Optimize site structure, page templates, and content for SEO
- Improve site speed and overall performance
- Collaborate with our design and marketing team to ensure brand consistency
- Provide recommendations based on Shopify, SEO, and eCommerce best practices (especially for supplements)
Requirements:
- Proven experience designing and developing Shopify websites from scratch
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including site structure, metadata, page speed, and internal linking
- Solid knowledge of eCommerce UX/UI and conversion optimization
- Experience with dietary supplement, health, or wellness brands is a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly, manage timelines, and work efficiently
