Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Therapist (English/Spanish) with an LSW ( (Licensed Social Worker) or LPC ( License Professional Counselor) to join our growing clinical team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing culturally responsive, trauma‑informed care and is comfortable working with individuals, couples, and children. This role is ideal for a clinician who values collaboration, professional growth, and evidence‑based practice especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), (DBT), and other modalities.
- Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to a diverse caseload
- Deliver services in both English and Spanish
- Utilize CBT and other evidence‑based modalities
- Conduct intake assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation
- Provide counseling services using techniques such as motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT , Psychodynamic and crisis management.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
- Offer addiction counseling and support for clients dealing with substance use disorders.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients, including coordination with healthcare providers and community organizations.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in counseling.
Qualifications
Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or LPC ( Licensed Professional Counselor) in Illinois (required)
Spanish speakers are welcome to apply
Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or children
Strong grounding in CBT and other evidence‑based practices
Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
Schedule: Candidate is available after 3 PM on weekdays and throughout weekends
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Comfort working independently and as part of a team
Master’s degree in social work or counseling from an accredited institution.
Valid LSW or LPC license in the state of practice. IL License (or willing to apply)
Experience in social work, counseling , particularly in areas such as PTSD, trauma, anxiety, OCD, crisis management, depression, grief & loss, and other mental health disorders.
Strong skills in motivational interviewing and mentoring others within the field.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
Proven ability to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining a high standard of care.
Experienced working Individuals, couples, and families.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
