The Federal Contracts Administrator is responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts to meet the Federal team's business objectives while mitigating risk to the company. This role involves reviewing contracts for compliance, identifying non-standard terms, and providing risk mitigation strategies. The position manages the entire contract lifecycle, including review, negotiation, execution, and database management. Responsibilities also include handling government-specific contracts (Federal, State, and Local) and collaborating with management to develop long-term processes to ensure contract obligations are fulfilled.

    Responsibilities:
  • Manage Contract alias emails and IronClad queue, serving as the primary contact for all communications.
  • Provide risk management consultation on all Federal contracts, including vendor, customer, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters, mediating between parties.
  • Ensure timely review, approval, negotiation, and reconciliation of contract variations.
  • Advise management on contractual rights and obligations, interpreting terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate with external resources like insurance brokers to ensure contract compliance with insurance policies.
  • Develop solutions to contractual issues and advise stakeholders on terms and conditions, ensuring consistency with company policies.
  • Assist in documenting internal policies and procedures to mitigate internal risks.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Services team to manage client contractual obligations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in legal or Federal contracts such as NDAs, BAAs, Reps and Certs, and Event Contracts.
  • Experience with Federal, State, and Local contract requirements.
  • Knowledge of FARS and DFARS regulations.
  • Experience managing and responding to email aliases.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette.
  • Experience with contract databases and Salesforce.com is a plus.
  • Proven negotiation, time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Customer service orientation and attention to detail are essential.
