Larouche Raymond Headhunters is a consulting firm recognized for its expertise in digital transformation and cloud innovation, seeking a Senior Cloud & DevOps Consultant to support the modernization and optimization of their clients’ IT environments. The role involves helping organizations innovate and enhance operational performance through modern technology solutions, focusing on cloud strategy, application modernization, and DevOps transformation.
- Responsibilities
- Support clients in modernizing their IT and software development practices
- Provide consulting services using Microsoft Azure, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and various open-source solutions
- Lead engagements in one or more of the following areas: Cloud Strategy & Governance, Innovation & Application Modernization, Modern Engineering / DevOps, Analytics & Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Define cloud migration and adoption strategies
- Implement governance frameworks and containerization approaches
- Analyze application portfolios
- Design modern architectures
- Oversee application development and containerization
- Drive DevOps and Agile transformations
- Modernize practices and CI/CD toolchains
- Develop AI adoption strategies
- Design advanced analytics architectures
- Deploy data and AI pipelines into production
- Act as a technical and strategic leader: analyze processes, design solutions, define architectures, lead projects, and ensure deployment and operationalization
- Mentor and coach client teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in pre-sales activities: proposal writing, statements of work (SOW), and project estimations
- Contribute to various initiatives when not assigned to a client project: Business development activities (webinars, demos, presentations, blog posts, etc.), Internal projects (development of new service offerings, tools, or internal training), Professional development (certifications, technology watch, continuous improvement)
- Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in consulting, strategy, or IT transformation
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud and the DevOps ecosystem (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Proven experience in digital transformation, application modernization, or cloud migration
- Excellent understanding of Agile, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and positively influence business stakeholders
- Relevant professional certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Expert, etc.) — a strong asset
