Job Description

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AngioDynamics is a leading provider of innovative medical devices dedicated to improving patient outcomes. The Tax Analyst will perform various tax and accounting tasks, including preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.

    Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual Global income tax provision prepared in accordance with USGAAP ASC 740, including financial statements and related footnotes
  • Preparing transaction tax (VAT, sales/use, business & occupation, gross receipts, and property tax) returns for monthly, quarterly and annual filings
  • Interpreting and complying with state, local and international statutes, regulations, and legislation
  • Month end closing journal entry preparation
  • Assist in tax planning projects and other tax-related initiatives
  • Ensures compliance with tax related internal controls
  • Perform period end account reconciliations (balance sheet and income statement accounts)
  • Assist with preparation of federal, state and local, international income tax returns, extensions and estimated payments
  • Participates with federal and state tax audits
  • Assist with the development and implementation of process improvements
  • May perform other duties as assigned
    Skills
  • Bachelor Level of Degree in the Accounting or related field of study
  • 0-2 years of demonstrated experience in accounting or tax
  • Prior experience with ERP accounting systems--Oracle preferred
  • Proven ability to work in team environment
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive data and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Proficient in the following computer software applications: Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance, instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures
  • For all on-the-job injuries or accidents, must notify manager/supervisor immediately
  • Exposure to standard office environment
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 15lbs
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs
  • Ability to regularly sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • This position requires some travel up to 5% of the time
