- *Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional service and support to our policyholders. You'll be the first point of contact for customers with questions or servicing needs related to their home, auto policies, and billing. Your primary responsibilities will include handling inbound telephone calls, initiating claims, and promoting digital self-service capabilities. This is an entry-level position that offers excellent career pathways and opportunities for growth and development.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional customer service experience to policyholders in every interaction
- Handle inbound telephone calls from customers with questions or servicing needs related to their home, auto policies, and billing
- Initiate claims according to claims best practices and assist with existing claim inquiries
- Explain the claims process, initiate damage appraisals, and organize car rental where appropriate
- Promote digital self-service capabilities
- Utilize multiple computer applications with accuracy
- Commit to the training and work schedule
- Maintain a dedicated workspace free from distractions during work and training hours
- *Qualifications**
- Demonstrated background in customer service, insurance, retail, restaurant, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong ability to empathize with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced complex environment while multitasking
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working in a Windows-based computer environment
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/English is a plus) to develop and enhance strong impactful customer relationships
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree a plus
- *Additional Requirements**
- High-speed broadband internet service is required (we do not recommend or support DSL, wireless, Wi-Fi, Hotspots, Fiber without a modem, and Satellite)
- Internet provider-supplied modem/router/gateway is hardwired to the arenaflex-issued computer with an Ethernet cable
- Minimum upload/download speeds of 10Mbps/100Mbps will be required
- *Training and Development**
- 12-week training program (Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM EST)
- Post-training hours (Monday - Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM EST)
- Ongoing coaching and guidance from experienced managers

- *Compensation and Benefits**
- Base pay: $23 per hour
- Annualized base pay range: $42,560 - $83,160
