We're now seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy Group, working from the comfort of your own home.
- *Job Summary:**
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our patient's specialty medication orders. You'll be responsible for precisely reading, interpreting, and entering solutions into our computer system, including dosage calculations, label assignments, and verifying insurance payments. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will enable you to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals, insurance agencies, and patients to resolve any discrepancies or concerns.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Precisely read, interpret, and enter solutions into the computer system, including dosage calculations, label assignments, and verifying insurance payments
- Contact healthcare professionals' offices and insurance agencies to ensure the accuracy of patient's specialty medication orders
- Occasionally, you'll be responsible for responding to patient calls to arrange and manage new patient medication requests and reorders, which includes verifying and re-verifying benefits
- Collaborate with the team to resolve any discrepancies or concerns related to patient medication orders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, medication orders, and insurance payments
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, insurance agencies, and patients to ensure seamless communication and resolution of any issues
- *Essential Qualifications:**
- Current AZ Pharmacy Technician License
- At least 6 months of experience working in a pharmacy setting
- At least 6 months of work experience with Windows-Based applications, such as Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
- Proficient keyboarding skills and preference for sitting or standing for the length of the shift (8-10 hours)
- Ability to use a computer and keyboard while performing the essential duties of this job
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- At least 6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician
- At least 90 days of experience handling and resolving customer needs via telephone
- Experience in healthcare, benefits, insurance, and medication management
- Experience with clinical charging, coding, and other clinical support roles
- Customer service experience in an office setting
- At least 6 months of professional work experience, including inbound and outbound telephone customer care
- Strong customer support skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer programs and software
- Excellent data entry skills
