Your opportunity: The HR Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating and providing administrative support to the human resources department. Performs a variety of administrative duties to assist Human Resources, plant managers and others in the performance of their duties. What you’ll be doing: Provide administrative support to the HR Department (HRBPs, recruiting, payroll, and benefits). Assist with production hiring process coordination including such as scheduling of interviews, reference checks, assessment process, benefits information, updating of e-recruiting system and other duties as assigned. Greet and assist visitors / employees in a courteous, professional manner. Answer HR related questions when possible. Answer phone – external / internal customers in a courteous, professional manner. Job verifications – submit through fax or phone confidential information. Responsible for electronic data management of HR files and documentation – coordinate scanning / indexing / shredding of confidential information into electronic records database. PO requisitioner for HR. Distribute communication/training materials to shop supervisors. Assist with data entry of information for benefits, training, etc. into UltiPro. Assist with the coordination of activities related to new employee orientation, department meetings, visitors, training, etc. Administration of production attendance program. Administration of union grievances. Performs miscellaneous clerical functions and special projects as assigned. What you should have: 2-4 years of relevant work experience required. 2 Year / Associate Degree or equivalent years of job experience required. The starting base pay range for this position is $21.39/hour - $26.43/hour and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance. Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks. Work may be performed in company’s setting, home, or hybrid.
