- Position: Biology Subject Matter Expert – Contract, Remote
- Commitment: 15-20 hours per week, potential to extend up to 40+ hours
- Duration: Minimum of 1-2 months
- Contribute expertise to a project involving state-of-the-art large language models. Help create high-quality data to inform AI innovation by curating difficult problems in your domain. Responsibilities
- Evaluate the accuracy and depth of AI-generated content in Biology.
- Review complex scientific content to ensure alignment with Biology principles.
- Provide detailed feedback to AI research teams to improve model outputs.
- Develop and implement evaluation rubrics for AI-generated Biology tasks.
- Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency in training data.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and improve AI model performance. Requirements / QualificationsMust-Have Qualifications
- Pursuing/holding a Biology-related PhD / Master’s from a leading US or Canadian university OR Worked full-time in a Biology-related domain in US or Canada for >1 year.
- High attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in English. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI model training and evaluation.
- Familiarity with large language models. Engagement Details

- Compensation: Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
