Why This Role Matters Identity and Access Management (IAM) is the cornerstone of any modern enterprise’s security strategy. In our rapidly expanding digital landscape, ensuring that the right people have the right access—at the right time—is critical for protecting data, maintaining compliance, and delivering trust to our customers and partners. As a Senior IAM Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions that power secure provisioning, entitlement certification, and automated lifecycle governance across our global operations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy custom IdentityIQ workflows, including provisioning, correlation rules, and access certification for Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes. Lead the integration of third‑party SaaS applications and on‑premise systems using Web Services, REST APIs, and SCIM connectors to enable automated, policy‑driven provisioning. Architect and implement robust identity governance frameworks, incorporating role‑based access control (RBAC), role mining, and entitlement aggregation. Collaborate with cross‑functional software and platform teams to ensure seamless, scalable integration of IAM solutions within cloud‑native and hybrid environments. Drive continuous improvement of IAM processes through automation, scripting, and the development of out‑of‑the‑box (OOTB) Lifecycle Management (LCM) workflows. Provide technical leadership for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IAM solutions in enterprise settings, ensuring high availability and performance. Partner with security operations to monitor, detect, and remediate identity‑related threats, supporting Flexnity’s broader cyber‑risk mitigation strategies. Document architecture decisions, operational procedures, and knowledge‑base articles to foster team knowledge sharing and compliance reporting. **Mentor junior engineers and interns, promoting best practices in secure coding, API integration, and identity governance.** Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience — designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions (preferably SailPoint IdentityIQ) within large‑scale, enterprise environments. Strong understanding of identity governance concepts, including access certification, RBAC, role mining, and entitlement lifecycle management. Proficiency with integration technologies: Web Services, RESTful APIs, SCIM, and custom connector development. Solid programming/scripting skills in Java, JavaScript, XML, and DSML; experience with Linux, Tomcat, Oracle, and SQL Server environments. Demonstrated experience with change and release management processes, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, coupled with a proactive, “can‑do” attitude. Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for cross‑team collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and cloud‑based IAM services. Certifications such as SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM). Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS) and how they influence IAM policies. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and automated security testing. Experience building custom dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools. Ability to lead workshops and training sessions for business owners and technical teams on IAM best practices.
