Position Overview – Data Entry & 10‑Key Specialist Remotica is seeking a meticulous, high‑energy Data Entry & 10‑Key Specialist to join our SmartSort team at our state‑of‑the‑art facility in Fontana, CA. In this role you will be instrumental in converting hard‑copy documents into high‑quality electronic images, supporting a broad portfolio of clients who rely on Skillnex for secure digitization and long‑term preservation. Key Responsibilities Document Preparation & Scanning: Inspect, organize, and prepare physical files for digitization, ensuring each item meets Zenvora’s quality standards before it enters the scanning workflow. High‑Volume Data Entry: Accurately input large quantities of information using a 10‑key keypad, consistently meeting daily production targets of 120‑150 files. Quality Assurance: Perform spot checks on scanned images and entered data, flagging any discrepancies or errors for immediate correction. System Integration: Load completed files into Workastra’s proprietary document management system, attaching appropriate metadata to enable rapid retrieval. Physical Handling: Safely lift and transport boxes weighing up to 90 pounds, and stand for extended periods while maintaining proper ergonomics. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with fellow specialists, supervisors, and quality control teams, providing clear updates on workflow status and any obstacles encountered. Continuous Improvement: Participate in regular training sessions, share best practices, and suggest process optimizations that enhance speed and accuracy. Essential Qualifications 10‑Key Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise with numeric keypads and data entry software, with a minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience. Production Efficiency: Proven ability to meet or exceed daily volume goals (120‑150 files) while maintaining an error rate below 1%. Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy, ensuring every digit entered matches source documents exactly. Physical Capability: Ability to stand for several consecutive hours and safely lift items up to 90 pounds in a warehouse environment. English Literacy: Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English to accurately interpret documents and follow procedural instructions. Reliability & Punctuality: Consistent attendance and adherence to the scheduled shift of 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Preferred (But Not Required) Qualifications Previous experience handling medical records or other regulated information. Familiarity with document imaging equipment and scanning software. Basic knowledge of data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) and best practices for secure handling of sensitive information. Experience working in a climate‑controlled or non‑climate‑controlled warehouse setting. Core Skills & Competencies Technical Acumen: Comfortable navigating Hirebase’s document management platform, data entry applications, and barcode scanning tools. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet strict deadlines without sacrificing quality. Problem‑Solving: Quickly identify and resolve issues such as unreadable documents, scanning errors, or data mismatches. Team Orientation: Collaborative mindset that supports peers, shares knowledge, and contributes to a positive workplace culture. Adaptability: Openness to evolving workflows, new technologies, and shifting project priorities. Compensation, Benefits & Work Environment Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and demonstrated proficiency. Annual Salary Range (Based on Full‑Time Hours): $40,200 – $50,300.
