Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Remote Tax Professional with our cloud based software. We specialize in helping individuals and small businesses minimize their tax debt or maximize their refunds. while providing exceptional service to clients nationwide. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely while assisting clients file their tax returns, offering cash advance up to $7,500, ensuring tax compliance, and consulting. You will play a vital part in helping clients optimize their financial strategies through tax advice and planning, and regulatory adherence. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will drive accurate results and foster long-term client relationships. This is a 1099 contractor position. Responsibilities • Prepare and review individual, contractor/self employed small business. Corporate, partnership, and estate tax returns not required but a plus. • Conduct comprehensive tax planning sessions to identify opportunities for savings and compliance improvements. • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations by staying current on changes in tax laws. • Bookkeeping QuickBooks skills not required but a plus . • Perform audits or assist with auditing processes by applying GAAP standards and technical accounting principles not required but a plus. • Manage accounts payable processes, payroll, and general ledger reconciliation tasks efficiently not required but a plus. Qualifications • Must live in the United States • Have your own tax clientele and able to work under company EFIN. • Proven experience in tax preparation with an active PTIN for 2025 a must with a strong background in tax experience across various sectors such as corporate accounting or public accounting not required but a plus. • In-depth knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), double-entry bookkeeping, and financial concepts not required but a plus. • Familiarity with accounting software including QuickBooks, proficiency in financial software is highly desirable. • Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation, financial report interpretation, budgeting, and financial statement preparation not required but a plus. • Ability to perform detailed account analysis while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines. • Exceptional communication skills to explain complex financial concepts clearly to clients from diverse backgrounds. • Relevant certifications or qualifications in accounting or taxation are preferred but not mandatory.
