The Opportunity
Naviga has been retained to identify a key Business Development Executive who will have a significant impact on driving substantial revenue in the NYC market. This position is a critical piece of new business development leadership and acquisition in both NYC and the United States. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will take ownership of coaching, mentoring, and growing a sales team. The role offers a very competitive salary with a lucrative variable compensation structure and the chance to be part of exciting, strategic growth plans.
The Location
This role is based in New York City, focusing on Class A buildings and markets such as education, pharmaceutical, industrial, and healthcare within the region.
- What You Will Do
- Take ownership for revenue generation by developing key relationships with high-level clients.
- Close large enterprise-level deals and manage all sales activity/monthly forecasting in the CRM.
- Collaborate and lead successful execution of sales activities with internal cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Position the company's offerings to maximize profit potential through various pricing models.
- Who You Are
- Experience: 10+ years of Sales Leadership and 5-10 years of experience selling facility services to Class A Buildings in NYC.
- Connections: Must have established relationships in this space and a solid database/pipeline of prospects.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and cloud-based CRM with a track record of meeting revenue goals.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment. You are a strong team player who fits in easily with a wide range of personalities and possesses excellent presentation skills. You have your finger on the pulse of the competitors in the market and leverage that knowledge to create opportunities.
