Role Description
This is a part to full-time remote position for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in a QuickBooks Online environment. The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Primary responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, recording journal entries, processing payroll taxes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Qualifications
- Strong skills in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
- Experience with journal entries and general accounting practices.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping processes, including account reconciliation and financial record maintenance.
- Knowledge of payroll taxes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prior multi-entity experience is a must.
- Professionalism and confidentiality expected at all times.
- Experienced in QuickBooks Online.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or 5 years of bookkeeping experience is required.
- Other Information
- Candidates must agree to a thorough background check and sign contracts including ICA (Independent Contractor Agreement) and Non-disclosure Agreement. This is an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR position which receives a 1099 not a W-2.
- Starting pay of $20/hour with opportunities for advancement into management.
