Role Overview

    The AI Workflow & Process Optimization Analyst plays a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and transforming business workflows using Generative AI. This role focuses on deeply understanding customer service representative (CSR) operations, benefits workflows, and enterprise systems to uncover inefficiencies and design AI-driven improvements that enhance accuracy, speed, and user experience.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkflow Analysis & Process Discovery
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of benefits workflows, CSR interactions, operational pain points, and supporting systems and documentation
  • Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for automation and AI augmentation
  • Map end-to-end workflows using tools like Figma to visualize current and future state processes
  • Value Assessment & Prioritization
  • Quantify business value and prioritize opportunities using frequency analysis, effort estimation, and feasibility scoring (e.g., data availability, TCHT contribution)
  • Develop structured frameworks to rank and sequence AI use cases for maximum impact
  • GenAI Opportunity Identification
  • Analyze workflows to determine where Generative AI can eliminate manual effort, reduce data searching, and improve decision-making
  • Partner with delivery teams to iteratively refine data requirements and improve model performance and user experience
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management
  • Own and maintain structured documentation including:
  • Business rules and benefit logic
  • Data source mappings and schema definitions
  • Intent definitions and workflow logic
  • Ensure all artifacts are version-controlled and continuously updated
  • User Research & Validation
  • Design and conduct user research, including CSR ridealongs, to validate workflows and pain points
  • Test hypotheses and refine solutions based on real-world user behavior and feedback
  • Testing, QA & Agile Execution
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and QA validation processes
  • Manage JIRA boards, create user stories, define success criteria, and develop detailed test cases
  • Capture and document findings to drive continuous improvement
  • AI Evaluation & Performance Measurement
  • Develop and maintain AI evaluation frameworks, including:
  • Test set design and execution
  • Model evaluation across accuracy, latency, and safety metrics
  • Identification and mitigation of edge-case failures
  • Establish standardized evaluation processes for each intent and workflow
  • Data & Pipeline Governance
  • Maintain documentation for data ingestion pipelines, including transformation rules, lineage tracking, and schema definitions
  • Ensure traceability and transparency across data flows and AI outputs
  • Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure consistency in:
  • Metric definitions
  • Data schemas
  • Evaluation methodologies
  • Drive alignment across teams to support scalable and reusable AI solutions
  • Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience in business process analysis, workflow mapping, and operational optimization
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI use cases and AI/ML evaluation concepts
  • Proficiency with tools such as Figma, JIRA, and data documentation platforms
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data systems
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • High level of ownership, curiosity, and persistence in uncovering insights
