Hybrid / Remote across California

Up to ~$315K total package (base + bonus)

⚖️ The Role: Workers’ Compensation Attorney (Defense)

  • Manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation matters ranging from routine to highly complex.
  • Develop and execute strategic litigation plans for each case.
  • Prepare case budgets where needed.
  • Conduct all aspects of discovery, including written discovery and depositions.
  • Appear at WCAB hearings, trials, and other court or agency proceedings as required.
  • Handle trials while maintaining strong, proactive communication with clients.
  • Draft motions, briefs, correspondence, and other substantive legal documents.
  • Prepare cases for settlement conferences, hearings, and trial.
  • Regularly communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and all relevant parties to advance case strategy and protect client interests.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: Up to ~$225K DOE
  • Bonus: Significant production-based bonuses (realistic total comp up to ~$315K for strong performers)
