- Support the design and delivery of foundation and structural systems across infrastructure and renewable energy projects
- Work closely with senior engineers to contribute to projects from concept through construction
- Focus on structural design for solar tracker systems, equipment pads, and site development structures
- Participate in structural engineering efforts for utility substation projects
- Review project documents and develop structural Basis of Design (BOD)
- Design and size foundations based on geotechnical recommendations and equipment loads
- Perform load calculations and develop structural models using FEA tools
- Prepare structural drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- EIT certification required, PE in progress preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in structural design, with exposure to foundation engineering, energy, or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with structural software (e.g., RISA, RAM, STAAD) preferred
- Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI standards
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and willingness to learn
- Willingness to travel (10–15%) for occasional site visits or field support
