Job Description
I’m looking for a YouTube video editor for a 20 to 30 minute video. This is NOT a heavy effects edit. I need clean, high quality editing with good pacing and some personality.
The video is a conversation between me and another person that builds up to a big reveal at the end. The goal is to make the video engaging, slightly funny, and keep viewers locked in until the payoff.
What I need:
- Clean cuts and smooth flow
- Strategic zoom ins to emphasize moments
- Occasional sound effects or memes where appropriate
- Good comedic timing when needed
- Maintain natural conversation feel, don’t over edit
This is more about timing and storytelling than flashy effects.
Style I’m going for:
- Entertaining but not over edited
- Slight humor added in the right moments
- Build up tension leading to the final reveal
I will provide:
- Full video footage
- Example video for reference
Looking for someone who understands YouTube pacing and retention.
This will start as one video, but if the work is solid, I’m looking for a long term editor.
