Job Description
Farmers District 40 & 94 is looking for motivated professionals to join the David Wetoskey Agency as an Agent in Training. This role involves generating new business, advising clients on insurance products, and building lasting client relationships while receiving training and mentorship for career growth.
Responsibilities
- Generating new business through prospecting, outreach, and lead conversion
- Advising clients through consultative needs assessments and tailored solutions
- Selling and cross-selling a range of insurance products such as Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies
- Building and maintaining trusted client relationships with ongoing support and regular policy reviews
- Consistently exceeding individual sales goals while helping drive agency-wide progress
- Staying current on insurance products and compliance requirements
- Leveraging CRM tools to manage outreach, follow-ups, and policy renewals
- Collaborating in team meetings and strategy discussions, sharing knowledge and best practices
Skills
- 1+ year of sales, customer service, or insurance industry experience
- Strong communication, relationship building, and negotiation skills
- Confidence with outbound calls and closing sales
- A coachable, goal-oriented attitude and strong learning drive
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license (or willingness to obtain)
