Job Description
Property Solutions Group is a company dedicated to providing exceptional support in Human Resources and other services. The Human Resources Generalist will support day-to-day HR operations, administer employee leave programs, coordinate benefits, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for HR inquiries related to policies, benefits, and HR systems
- Maintain accurate HRIS data and personnel records
- Prepare employment-related documentation
- Ensure work authorization and compliance documentation is current
- Assists with programs to recognize and celebrate employees including but not limited to employee reward programs
- Help develop and streamline HR processes, create, and maintain process documents, maintain personnel files and organizational charts, and aid with monthly billing processes
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes as needed
- Assist with ad-hoc HR projects
- Coordinate employee training and development programs and audit all online compliance training such as Fair Housing and sexual harassment to ensure timely completion and compliance
- Coordinate employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans
- Support annual open enrollment and benefits communications
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and changes
- Coordinate with benefits vendors and complete benefit reconciliation
- Administer employee leave of absence programs including FMLA, state leave programs, disability leaves, pregnancy disability leave, military leave, and personal leaves
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave processes, eligibility, and documentation requirements
- Coordinate leave from intake through return-to-work, including required notices, documentation tracking, and HRIS updates
- Support the ADA interactive process and workplace accommodations
- Track leave usage and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of medical and leave records
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and annual processes such as EEO-1 and performance reviews
- Coordinate compliance training and track completion
- Stay current on employment law and HR best practices
- Assist with employee recognition programs and HR communications
- Support HR projects and process improvements
Skills
- 1–2 years of HR experience required
- Prior experience administering FMLA, ADA, and state leave laws required
- Prior experience with benefits administration required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and HRIS systems
- Experience supporting multi states
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proven success working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Bilingual - a plus
