Job Description

SimCorp is a leading provider of integrated investment management solutions, focusing on innovative financial technology. The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for operating and improving the Azure-based SaaS platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and operational excellence for client environments.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the daily operations of our Microsoft Azure-hosted platform
  • Cooperate and conduct on disaster recovery (DR) tests for Azure and non-Azure clients
  • Assist in managing and improving infrastructure deployment pipelines and automation tasks
  • Monitor platform performance and availability using tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
  • Coordinating routine maintenance, deployments, refreshes, rollbacks, incident resolution, and release Application Upgrades
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and change management activities
  • Help schedule and optimize batch jobs using enterprise schedulers
  • Support the integration and configuration of third-party tools and services
  • Learn and apply SRE and ITIL practices, including service ownership and post-incident reviews
  • Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint-based team delivery
  • Maintain and improve documentation, including runbooks and operational guides
  • Engage in a structured onboarding and mentoring program to grow your skillset

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Some practical exposure to cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure topics through coursework, internships, or side projects
  • Interest in Microsoft Azure, automation, and cloud operations
  • Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and version control (Git)
  • Awareness of monitoring, basic networking, or incident response is a plus
  • A self-motivated, collaborative mindset and clear communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to shared team outcomes
