Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Desjardins is a financial services cooperative that is seeking a Fraud Prevention Advisor to join their Security Office. In this role, you will help protect members and clients by preventing fraud, advising victims, and improving security activities. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Collect, compile and analyze the type and nature of suspicious transactions
- Advise members and clients who are victims of fraud on preventive measures
- Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs
- Identify operational risks and continuously help improve the Desjardins Group Security Officeโs activities
- Assist and support members and clients who are victims of various scams, ensuring they are satisfied with the support received and have an understanding of fraud
Skills
- General college diploma in a related field
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Knowledge of French is required
- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Available to come to the office occasionally during training and once a month afterwards
- Available to work Monday to Sunday between 7:00 a.m. and midnight
