Job Description

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Network Connex is a premier turnkey installer of fiber optic and data center infrastructure, and they are seeking a Project Engineer to manage engineering and technical disciplines for various projects. The role involves scheduling, planning, and ensuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Skills

0-2 years of proven working experience as a Project Engineer or similar role
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant field
Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD
Advanced MS Office skills
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
Project management and supervision skills
Decision making ability and leadership skills
Time management and organization skills
Must have reliable transportation and being willing to travel to sites/work remotely
Lift 50 lbs. unassisted
Work indoor and outdoor under variable environmental conditions
CPR/First Aid
