Job Description
FMC Freedom Mortgage Corporation is seeking a Home Loan Consultant to join their Call Center department. This role focuses on providing high-quality service to customers by assisting them in selecting mortgage options and resolving their needs while obtaining the necessary state mortgage originator licenses.
Responsibilities
- Passing SAFE exam, obtaining the required state mortgage originator licenses
- Obtaining and or/ maintaining applicable state and NMLS licensure, or renewing your NMLS license within the time period determined and communicated to you by the Company
- Analyzes applicant information to determine whether the customer qualifies for a beneficial loan program
- Assists customers in discussing financial objectives and goals and, once licensed will take the initial loan application
- Clearly communicates the loan program terms and benefits available to the customer as well as the loan process
- Ensures all required documents are returned and disclosures are signed in a timely manner
- Follows our sales process and QA requirements to remain compliant
- Continually meets and/or exceeds the Sales KPIβs set by Management
- Is responsive to customersβ needs and expectations
- Has excellent communication skills and is clear, concise, and professional when speaking with customers
- Is eager to develop knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines
- Has strong knowledge of mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines
- Maintains a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures
- Requires flexible scheduling (weekends and late nights)
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Skills
- U.S. citizens or individuals with legal authorization to work in the United States for this role
- High School Diploma required
- At least one (1) year of mortgage sales experience working as bank loan officer or in similar role
- Home Loan Consultant must pass the NMLS SAFE exam within the first 30 days of this role
- Excellent communication skills and is clear, concise, and professional when speaking with customers
- Eager to develop knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines
