Fellowes Brands is a recognized leader in creating innovative solutions for work environments. As an Industrial Designer, you will lead projects in the Fellowes Interiors portfolio, collaborating with various teams to develop human-centered design solutions from concept to execution.
Responsibilities
- Translate consumer insights, market trends, and product requirements into innovative and compelling design solutions
- Create inspiring advanced design solutions through sketches, renderings, and iterative physical or digital prototypes
- Develop conceptual CAD models and prepare 3D packages to support product development
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to ensure design intent is maintained while ensuring product viability and feasibility
- Present design concepts to internal and external stakeholders, communicating rationale, storytelling, and design intent with clarity
Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Industrial Design
- Proficient 2D/3D skills in key design applications such as SolidWorks, KeyShot, Adobe CC, and emerging generative-AI design tools
- Strong Design Sense with the ability to communicate concepts and form through rapid sketching, 3D visualization, and iterative prototyping
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design intent across multiple disciplines
- Comfortable giving and receiving creative feedback in a collaborative team environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the Ability to independently manage timelines and balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexible, self-driven, and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
