As an Account Manager, you will leverage your business acumen and strategic sales expertise to consult with major accounts and drive long-term growth across a diverse portfolio of FARO Creaform solutions.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Creaform technology to interested and / or potential customers
- Participation to trade shows, technical events, open-house, sales meetings and other sales events
- Ensure steady and organized follow-up on sales opportunities through emails, phone calls, etc. to ensure the expected level of sales and a sales cycle as compact as possible by using the CRM system
- Clearly identify and communicate all customer needs and specifications in order for the ISS to prepare the quote
- Act as point of contact and provide technical support and regular follow-ups to potential customers during the evaluation period
- Report progress of all ongoing sales activities on a weekly basis during team opportunity-review, provide sales forecast and participate to forecast review meetings
- Develop a large network of contacts and clients within the designated territory in teamwork with the Strategic Account Manager and the Sales Manager
- Professional management of existing customers over the entire product life cycle including the identification of further business opportunities
- Protect the profit margins of Creaform by adding value; rather than discounting and by organizing efficient travel
Skills
- Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant technical field
- 1-5 years of experience in sales in a manufacturing/technological environment
- Have a strong interest for high technology and towards learning about technological products
- Have experience in a technical field, sales and/or customer support
- Valid US Drivers license
- A frequent weightlifting of 90 lbs or more is required
